What is the difference between the two ticket types?
Block tickets allow customers to book two or more classes in a run at the same time. You set the number that they can buy and the system will automatically book them onto the next available classes. This option is great for classes that run all year and you want to encourage customers to book more than one class. You can still remove dates when your class is not running.
Term tickets allow you to set start and end dates for each term, customers can then book at any time during that term and the price is pro-rated as the term goes along.
Setting up Block tickets
As part of the set up for block tickets, you choose how many classes are included in the block and the system will automatically book them into the next available classes. By clicking on a certain date for a class, the customer can choose when their block booking starts.
Using this option also allows you to incentivise customers by offering them discounted rates for booking a block, as you set the price of the block, rather than the individual price per class.
Please note that when using this option, you must have enough dates available for the amount in the block. For example, if you have a ‘Block of 6’ ticket but only five upcoming dates available, then the option will disappear until there are six available dates again. For this reason we recommend having a single ticket option available for the end of each run of dates; we will send you reminders when there aren’t enough dates left as well!

You can set up tickets at the end of the class timetable flow or to add a ticket to an existing class go to your weekly timetable and click on the view/eye icon for that class.
Then choose the button which says ‘manage tickets’.
Then in the section below choose ‘Block’ and complete the sections as relevant. Remember to set the price for the block, not the individual classes.

Setting up Term tickets
It’s important to note that the term ticket option disappears when there are less than two sessions left in the term and so it is best to have single ticket options available on your last two term dates.
Also when adding a new term, the term start date will always be a Monday and the end date will always be a Sunday. However, when you pick the day of the week that the class is running, the dates will all reflect that date.
