Happity Bookings is a powerful, full-featured booking system, designed to bring customers to you. This article will walk you through your setup, to make sure you’re maximising the value of Happity bookings.

Step 1: Switch on bookings

To take bookings on Happity, you’ll first need to activate Happity Bookings.

👉 For a full step-by-step guide, see: Setting up Happity Bookings | Happity Help Centre

Step 2: Share your Happity link

Once your bookings are set up, you’ll want to grab your Happity links to share in your Instagram bio, website, on Facebook, and anywhere else families look for you.

Three Ways to Link to your Classes

Your profile link → Shows all your classes on one page, so customers can browse by venue, day, or age group.

  • Go to your Dashboard, scroll down to the bottom of the left-hand menu, and click My Happity Page. You can then grab the link from the address bar.

Your class links → Each class, event, or course has its own unique link.

  • From your Happity page, click Book now on a class, then copy the link from the address bar.

Link to a specific date → You can also send a link to a customer/customers for a specific date, if you know which one they want to book.

Where to share your Happity link

Think about the places parents are most likely to look you up online. The best spots to share your Happity links include:

  • Your website – Add your profile link to your main navigation, “Book Now” buttons, or timetable page. If you prefer, you can also link directly to individual classes.

  • Social media – Add your link to your Instagram bio and on your Facebook page. This makes it easy for parents scrolling your feed to click straight through and book.

  • Facebook Groups – When you share posts about your classes in local parenting or community groups, include your class link so parents can book straight away.

💡 Top tip: We’ll give you £10 Happity credit if you add the Book with Happity badge to your website and/or printed flyers. Find out more.

How will I know when I’ve got a booking?

  • You’ll get an email every time you receive a booking on Happity (sent to the contact email on your account).

  • Not sure which email you used? Head to Profile > Organisation and click the Contact tab to find your contact email.

  • You can also see bookings at any time in My Classes > Registers. Just click on the class date to see a list of customers who have booked.

Can I add bookings to my Happity register manually?

If you receive the occasional booking outside of Happity, it’s easy to add it to your register so all your customers are in one place.

How can I access my register?

On the day of your class you have two options:

1. Open your register on your phone and tick people off as they arrive:

2. Or print a copy:

  • Go to My Classes > Registers → click the class date → Print Register. This creates a PDF copy of your register that you can print or view online.

Can I contact customers who have booked through Happity?

There are two ways to contact customers who have booked via Happity.

  1. Contact customers for a particular class
Go to My Classes > Registers → click the class date.

You’ll see their contact details alongside the child’s name, age, and ticket type. You can also click Contact Attendees to get a copy-paste list of phone numbers and email addresses.

  2. Export all your bookers
If you want to add customers to your mailing list or CRM, you can export them from Happity.
Go to Customers > Bookings and export the CSV.
Each customer will be listed with their opt-in status – just be sure to only contact the ones who have opted in to marketing emails.

My bookings have suddenly stopped – what’s happened?

First thing to check is that your listing still has:

  • Dates

  • Spaces

  • Prices

We cannot take a booking with this information on your listing, and it’s easily fixed – see: Setting up Happity Bookings | Happity Help Centre.

Another possibility is that your Stripe has disconnected; if so, you may need to verify your account. You can log-in to Stripe to check your account status. It's also worth checking your email inbox for any emails from Stripe, prompting you to verify.
