Photos and videos of your classes in action are likely a key part of your marketing strategy, but it's really important to get the correct permissions from the families who appear in your content before you share it.

A quick change in your Happity settings is all you need to start collecting consent.

Before you start

Photo/video consent is feature of our booking system, which is available with a Happity Membership. If you're on our free plan, you will need to upgrade to get started.

How to switch on photo/video consent

  1. Log-in to your Dashboard, and click Settings > Bookings in the left hand menu.

2. On the right hand side of the page, click Go! next to Update your booking legals

3. Scroll to the bottom of the page to switch on photo consent. This change will apply to all the classes you take bookings for on Happity.

How do my customers give consent for photos & videos?

After a parent has selected their tickets and entered their child's details, they will see the photo/video consent buttons. They can select Yes if to give you permission, or No to opt-out.

How can I see who has given consent, and who has opted-out?

You can see who has given consent and who has opted-out on your class register. Head to My Classes > Registers and click on the class to see a list of all your attendees.

Parents of attendees with a camera icon next to their name have consented to photos and videos. Those with the camera icon crossed through have opted-out, and should not appear in your marketing content.
